Santa Fe Trail Ranch, Parcel B-13
Views! Views! Views! and more Views! What can I say, if you are looking for a parcel that has "In Your Face" views this is it! Located at the very end of the cul-de-sac you can build your home close to the road and be in Heaven! We think that this is one of the best values on the Ranch for Big Big Views. It is located on the Western edge of the ranch and the views start immediately and there is nothing in your way to block those views. Its like they say "You would have great views if all those Mountains weren't in the way"! Imagine watching the afternoon thunderstorms coming across the valley.
There is a pond at the bottom of the property that looks like it holds water year-round. Most of the property is fairly Steep when you leave the building site area but there are many areas to enjoy. Not only do you have awesome Mountain views you also overlook some beautiful tall trees. I can just imagine how beautiful they will be with the first snow fall. And just look at those incredible fossils that I found in just an afternoon walk. Wouldn't those look great in your fireplace rock? And I found many more and left them where I found them for the new owners to find. Wonder what else is there to be found?
The property has water and phone lines are located at the road by the property line. Santa Fe Trail Ranch is in the final stages of building it's central water system, which has Trinidad City water, from the high mountain lakes, as it's source of Water. This will be one of the few 35-acre mountain sub-divisions in the entire state of Colorado to have city water available!! We feel that this will protect your property values for years to come. If you want, you can still drill a well, but why bother once the water system is completed?
Santa Fe Trail Ranch is located just minutes from Trinidad, Co., and it's schools, community college, hospital, medical center, restaurants and shopping galore. You won't find a better mountain location with this easy of access. The ranch also has it's own "on" and "off" ramps to interstate I-25.

Found this leaf fossil as we were walking down to the
Pond. Left it there for the new owner to find. Could this be you?
This was an awesome find. An ancient Palm or Palmetto leaf or frond.
It's also here to be found. Proof that this area was once tropical.
